Follow the steps below to integrate Google spreadsheet with Salesforce.
- Open a spreadsheet.
- Navigate to Extensions-Add-ons-Get add-ons.

- Search for Salesforce
- Follow the installation steps of Salesforce Connector by Google. For detailed instructions click Import, edit & sync Salesforce data with Google Sheets – Computer – Google Docs Editors Help.

- Now you can see ‘Salesforce Connector’ in the Extensions dropdown
- Click on the right arrow and Click to enable add-on.

- Now the Connector is enabled, Click open.

- The Salesforce Data connector will be visible on the extreme right side of the Google spreadsheet.
- You can choose any of the 5 operations listed in the Connector window.

- When importing data from Salesforce to the spreadsheet, you will have two options, either import to a new sheet or import to an active sheet.
- If you choose the later, the data in the current sheet will be replaced by the newly imported data.

Below shows a report we imported from Salesforce. The ‘Loan purpose’ field is vacant for several records. We must perform an update operation to mass update these records.

- We have updated the Loan purpose column with ‘Purchase’ for 46 records.

- Now select ‘Update’. We will be able to see the rows and the number of rows in which the update operation is going to take place.

- For the object type, select ’Loan’.
- Specify the Id Column and the column in which results of the update to be displayed.
- Click ‘Next’.

- Map the columns of the sheet to the object fields.
- We have chosen Loan purpose column to the ‘Loan purpose’ field.
- Click ‘Execute’.

- In column F, we can see the results of the update operation.

- Now open the Report in Salesforce and refresh it once.
- We can see the Loan purpose column is updated.
