DocuSign templates are a powerful feature that streamlines the process of preparing documents for electronic signatures. These templates allow users to create standardized forms that can be reused multiple times, ensuring consistency and saving time. By predefining fields, roles, and routing orders, templates reduce the need for repetitive data entry and help eliminate errors. They are particularly useful for businesses that frequently send out the same types of documents, such as contracts, agreements, and consent forms. With the ability to customize templates with branding elements and specific instructions, DocuSign templates enhance efficiency and professionalism in document management workflows. This article explains How to create templates using Docusign esignature for Salesforce.

We can choose to send the template to Related lists like Account or Users/Contacts. Recipients can be selected by Role as well. We can create a public group which can also be selected as Recipient of the template.

- We will be taken to the preview of the document template we have uploaded, in which we can place fields relevant to our requirement. There are several standard fields along with the merge fields we added earlier to place into the document.
- We can change the properties, add filters etc on the properties pane on the right side according to the type of field we are placing.

- If the recipient should be reminded about the document to be signed in a scheduled period of time we can do so in the next step.

- In the sending experience, we have multiple options like add more recipients, place more fields etc before a document is being sent.
