Loan Assignment Service in Encompass 360

Freddie Mac Loan Assignment (FMLA) Service in Encompass 360 enables correspondents to share data and documents across the loan manufacturing process – from underwriting through loan delivery – with aggregators. Lenders assign a loan or loans to a specified aggregator to share loan data and documents. The aggregator can then retrieve data and documents specific to that loan directly from Freddie Mac.

Authorized users such as Encompass administrators need to configure Encompass Settings in the Services Password Management tool, Freddie Mac Loan Assignment, and Personas settings. Users configured for this service can then submit their loan files to FMLA from the Pipeline menu, and release loans from the Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor Request window. The Freddie Mac Additional Data input form will be updated when the Loan Assignment Service results are returned to Encompass 360. After a loan is assigned, and upon review, determined that it can be released, use the Release Loan button in the Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor Request window to release the loan within Encompass 360 and reassign edit capabilities on the loan.

Services Password Management

FMLA leverages the Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor (LPA) credentials for your Encompass instance entered in the Services Password Management tool.

Configure Loan Product Advisor

1. On the menu bar, click Encompass, and then click Settings.
2. On the left panel, click Company/User Setup, and then click Services Password Management.
3. Click the New
4. On the Account Details window:

1. From the Service Category drop-down list, select Underwriting.
2. From the Provider Name drop-down list, select Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor System to System.
3. In the Description field, type a brief overview of this
4. In the User ID and Authentication Password fields, type the LPA credentials assigned to your
5. Type information in the following fields:
   • LP ID (Seller Number)
   • TPO Number
   • LP Password
6. In the Selected Users field:
   • • Click the Search icon to select the users who will use the login credentials to access the

• • In the Users window, select a Search by option from the drop-down list, and then click to select a name in the

• • Select a user in the Enabled Users list, and then click the right arrow to move the user to the Selected Users Use the Ctrl or Shift key to select multiple users.

• • When finished, click Select.

Use the Freddie Mac Loan Assignment setting (in Additional Services) to add the aggregators that your organization will use.

Configure Freddie Mac Loan Assignment Setting

1. On the menu bar, click Encompass, and then click Settings.
2. On the left panel, click Additional Services, and then click Freddie Mac Loan Assignment.

3. In the Aggregator List panel, click the New

4. In the Add Aggregator window, type the Aggregator Name and ID, and click OK.

5. Confirm that your entry is listed, and click the Save

6. In the Freddie Mac Loan Assignment window, click OK.

7. Click the Close
