In this blog let us discuss some of the major Salesforce Summer 25 release highlights.
- Custom object deletion made easier
Earlier when we try to remove an object, it says there are dependencies, so you can’t delete this object. But with this Summer 25 release. When we try to delete an object, it will display a detailed page where all the dependencies associated with the object and their hyperlinks are listed. So, you can easily find the dependencies with other objects and fields and delete them before deleting the original object.
- Easy access to Permissions and Permission sets
When you navigate to an object form the object manager, it will allow you to have access to the field level permissions for the custom profiles within your org. You can add and remove permissions and permission sets right there without navigating to multiple pages.
- Dynamic Related Lists for Mobile
We can enable the Dynamic Related Lists for Mobile in Salesforce Mobile App, drag the Dynamic Related List-Single component onto the Lightning page in App Builder.
- Edit permissions from the Permission set and Permission set group summary pages
We can update user, object, filed and custom permissions directly from the Permission set and Permission set group summary pages without navigating multiple pages.
- Tab access from User, Permission set and Permission set group Summary pages
Tab settings can be reviewed directly from ‘Tabs’ tab in the User Access, Permission set and Permission set group summary pages.
- Selective dashboard widget refresh
There is no need to refresh the entire dashboard and have a long wait to see the most recent things. We can now selectively refresh any dashboard widget to see the most recent data it holds.
- Single email address to send report subscription and dashboard subscription notifications
In the Reports and Dashboards Settings page in Setup, check the box to ‘Enable Org Wide Email Address for Report Subscription’ and ‘Enable Org Wide Email Address for Dashboard Subscription’ for enabling Report subscription and Dashboard subscription notifications respectively to a single email address . Select the preferred email address to which the notifications are to be sent.
We will soon come back with another article which features the Salesforce Summer 25 release highlights Part 2.
